TA0-Rally F150

This body was left over from a previous project that I tore apart and starting a drift project. As usual, I finished the leftover build before the project I started in the first place.

Nothing too special, just dropped the F150 body back on a TA chassis built from my big box o' parts. Freshened it up with new gearboxes front and rear, and added an HD center shaft, ball diffs, new shocks, front uni's and a rear carbon shock tower. Rear suspension is modded a bit with TL01 hubs to move the front wheels forwards as they sat a bit too far back in the wheelwells.

Torque tuned motor (for now) and Tamiya tires that may as well be drift tires. Needed something taller than touring/rally size to fit the wheelwells, but I didn't want to go too tall. I think the stance came out just right. Traction was secondary. Drives just like a rally car. Loads of fun!

Looks sweet. I had one of the F150 red plastic ones, before the blue re-re-release. Did a wide-arm conversion, then sold it. Which I'd kept it now.
