I would be willing to judge super and 1.9 also."thumbsup"

EDIT: I may need to retract this statement as my flights are leaving Vegas on Sunday @ 3pm.

Awesome!

If we were to do a dual start gate on 1.9 and super, this means we would now have all our judges for everything except 2.2s. "thumbsup"

Average temperature is below 100*F so hopefully we wont be dealing with 113

I will be bringing a pop up canopy and I have another that has a broken leg but I will bring that too. I like to use the broken one with one side laying down, it still creates good shade and somebody can use one of those.

Obviously dont wear a lot of clothing and try not to wear anything other than white or lighter colors (no black!).

Bring a hat (I will take this advice for myself too) :flipoff:

Two other tricks I like to use is I will take my shirt off and soak it with a bottle of water. This can bring your temps down 10-20* for a decent amount of time. The other trick is that I will take 400mg of ibuprofen. Its a fever reducer but anytime I have physical work to be done in the heat, it can bring my core temps down quite a bit. I am not a doctor and should say I dont recommend doing this without talking to your doctor first.

Anyone besides myself and Donzx12 think that judges running before the rest of the field is a good idea? Going this route takes care of all the typical gripes judges might have about how their duty affects their performance.

What un-bolt said....

As far as I would be concerned, since we have 2 judges, I would say let the judges run when ever they want and just leave 1 judge on course if they want. I personally would rather run at the end of the day (even if its a crappy long day) than the beginning.

And just a word of advice Curt....

I would not associate with Don AT ALL till Worlds is over. I think he sees you as a threat and is trying to knock you off your game with bad advice.

I don't know if i like your new found sense of humor you have now :flipoff: We were just thinking that running the courses first would be better before you spend all day judging. I will have bad advice for you all day :ror:

Made ya post! :flipoff:

Run first, run last.... whatever makes it more fair for you and I dont just run away with the title.

Can a mod now change the title to "Shi* talking thread". Also, if we change the title of the thread, people wont be scared to post in here since we will then have proof that they have seen it and just not posting because they dont want to judge. :lmao:

Let's follow up and confirm who judged 2.2p, I would like to get together a post thank you package for their hard work. Their incredible dedication shall not go unnoticed and will influence a new structure to ensure future events don't require a few to judge many.

There was also a huge effort put in the Sportsman class. There were a lot of competitors and the heat was just as intense.

Thanks to all whom helped setup courses and judge. You are the rock stars and life of the hobby.

2.2 sportsman judges... help me since I didnt run and see everybody

the finals course was a BYB format we run at all our events we call an extended course. 10 gates in 6 minutes, stop after gate ten and reset points and timer to 4 minutes for an additional 10 gates, no battery change or touch without a penalty. if you don't finish the first course you get a 40 for the second course.

BYBRCC will never prerun a gate and after Spencer ran first, we were a little worried it was too difficult, then Dwray finished both courses and we were breathing easier. the course played out perfect, separating the drivers who got to the second course and moving them ahead of those who didn't.
