I've actually been making a lot of changes to this rig... I am running the rear shocks at less of an angle to get more clearance in the rear, and I ditched one of the FX-Rs and got a Punk dig unit. Had to re-do all of the wire management too. Also, my Novas Ark foams arrived today..... THESE THINGS ARE NICE! They fill the tires out much better. I cut the outer side lugs off the fronts of my Leopards, and I cant wait to get this pig out on the rocks meow! pictures to follow soon..... |

Why would you ditch an FXR for a punk dig? What radio are you using? I can't wait for a 3nd FXR to get here and ditch my dig setup, way more pull/push tunability with 2 motors running independant of each other. |

| When you say push /pull turning,do you mean 1 tire turning forward and the other going backward. If so I think thats called a reverse.

oh I know, the dual ESCs were sweet, but I had a couple reasons to switch... 1) I have a 3PM with the three position switch mod, but since confirming it won't work with mixing, front AND rear dig, I needed to change it up. The mixing was cool, but I would rather have rear dig.. 2) didn't want to spend the $ on a 3PK 3) the FXR is going in a tuber shafty I'm putting together, so it's not wasted. I'll post pics up when it's near completion, it will be pretty cool. Just had my first comp with it yesterday. The truck kicked ass, and I'm the reason I didn't finish in the top ten. Still very impressed. I'm thinking about experimenting with the moon buggy arched lower links in the rear, hoping that it will further increase my breakover angle. |

Can't wait to see what have in store for us... It's been a clean build so far. Dual ESC's to me is more of a BLING factor then an advantage on the rocks. 99% of the Guys with Dual ESC's don't know how to drive them. So it hurts them more then it helps them. If you can keep your rig Basic, learn to drive it. You will be more relaxed and drive even better in Comps.

yah I ditched one of the FXRs and got a Punk dig unit. we couldn't program my radio the way we needed. it's very capable this way, and I'm slowly learning how to drive it. I'll get some pictures up of my custom stainless links I made. Closer to a 60/40 setup, with some new SLWs and Sedonas too! |

so this is a Juice Chassis with T1E moonbuggy rear links, and custom fronts/uppers. I used 8/32 SS all-thread with 1/4" SS tubing for the lower fronts, and aluminum for the uppers. Losi shocks, but the fronts have the TCS internal springs (soft) and an RC18 drilled out shock cap. Put a little heat shrink to keep the spring in place. this thing is very smooth and soft, with plenty of articulation!! now to place my battery.... HMMMMMM |
