I don't have one at the moment. I have the axles taken apart for a Boca bearing rebuild. I will measure it up for you when I get it back together.

Always building!

Where can I get scratches like that for my gear case? I've been looking all over for scratches like that. Thanks in advance.

You need about two tons of quartz rock for scratches like that. I doubt you will find anything like that near you.

I got my scratches from a flap wheel.

Also, bent pins, bent that badly, I would think that you are overtightening the wheel nuts. It's pretty common to have a slight bend from overtightening, but that is excessive, and the wheel hub or nut has gotten into the lockout right? THat's what I'm seeing? Are you using Lattice innovations hubs? There is a lot of "good" about those in theory, but in practice, those hubs are problematic for many axle types.

I use SLW hubs. I don't have problems over tightening wheel nuts so any replacement pin would work. At less than $4 delivered the Gunner pins were affordable, available, and are cut to my desired length.

Why would I not get them considering I needed some?

My wheel base is currently at 12.375". Post some pics in here of your setup and maybe I can better understand what is different on your rig. Since we have the same chassis, shocks and links, I am guessing it may be a setup difference. I did a lot of tweaking to where I mounted the links and shocks, how I clocked my axles, and what type of springs, rod ends, and tires I was using.

Happy to help if I can.

Thanks Spiitz,

I need to figure out how to post a picture (not computer savvy at all). I'll try to post some in the next few days.

I use tinypic.com to upload, convert, and store the pictures indefinitely for free. You simply upload the file, select the size you want, and then it will give you an image link that shows the picture in your post wherever you put the link.

The link syntax TinyPic gives you will look like this:

""

Before submitting you can preview your post to see the picture that was linked as it will look to others:

I choose to convert my pictures during upload to what they call "Message Board" size at 640 x 480. You can set it higher but that seems to work well for this forum.

Now post up them pics so we can get you sorted.

I broke a Gunnar CVD pin, the hex pins seem better than stock IMO, the ultimate pins are machinist gauge pins or go no go gauges as some call them. They are pricey but better than snapping a pin at a big show as Joel told me.

What I use for pins (or at least for some of them) are the needle bearings from the universal joints.
Any repair shop will have those on the scrap bin and if you find the right diameter you'll have plenty from one u-joint.
They are very strong.

I had a weekend test run with the new custom silver Voodoo's from Hittman. I gotta say these kicks are amazing even without any break in. I can't wait to see how they wear in over time.

Took a vid to show how well the custom foam and tire cuts worked out.
