Default How much caster?

Guys,
How much caster do you have? I moved the chub at the last position... is this good?
I think that now, my steering rod is hitting the gearbox and the servo plate (if steering rod is placed above the steering arms).

I believe you won't have this problem because dlux knuckles are with longer arms (not 100% sure), and also u are not using the sock steering rod.

I'm following your thread but I was not been able to find any solution on this. The only solution will be to not move the chubs at the last position because steering arms are getting far up and steering rod is hitting the battery tray.

Drop the steering rod under the mounts
I also used a spacer between the hubs and wheel for clearance on my steering link.

You can't run them 100% back, its one before that. You'll know its right when the steering clearings everything.

Mine are all the way back, using a vp xr10 tierod, no clearance issues.

Thanks Travis. I do like bigger caster angle. And when I clock axle up, caster will be reduced. So I think I will try to replicate the vp xr10 tier rod... pattern looks easy.

One more question ... I'm planning to clock the axle by putting longer rod ends to the upper links (traxxas 5525). Question is ... do I need to put on both sides on the upper link, or only one the one side?

Try 1 short and 1 long rod end. If that doesn't give enough angle go with 2 long rod ends and trim to your spec if you need them shorter. I used 2 long and trimmed 1/4" off the front rod ends.
