Man I am at a toss up between the Axial Exo or the TF2 once it's available again. Always wanted to build me a C1 leafed Hilux...then again the Exo videos on YouTube are just jaw dropping! Might have to sell off some of my cars and try to get both...lol.

I really like the 35 turn. It's not to fast at all. 1st gear is great for crawling and when you need the speed 2 nd is perfect to me with the 35 turn. Thats what I'm going to run.

...I see your video with 27t in into 2'nd gear, and my first thought was...WTF...if I want that speed I can still use my Slash,
...anyone around to put a lower motors in...like 55T for decent trail speed and wheels turn in second gear and real scale 1'st gear, ultra slow and torque...???

Mine should be hear next week. I recently sold everything and have to buy all new Elects. for my build. I am trying to decide between 27t and 35t. I will not be doing much intense crawling, but would still like some torque in 1st gear. Has anyone compared a 35t and 27t in 1st gear???

I'll not be running the 27 t, to fast for me for what I want this rig for. Being a Team Driver I wanted to show everyone what it would be like to have the power. To me the 55 turn was to slow for me. 1st gear was real slow and strong though. 2 nd still has some wheel speed. It'd be like 4 wheel low and wheel high like a 1:1.

Both the 35 and the 27 had plenty of torque in 1st gear.

Here' the videos I got in my build thread. The last 2 are with a 35 turn and the 1st 4 are 27 turn,

I'm with the OP on this. This truck looks SPECTACULAR....but I'm just concerned I wouldn't enjoy a leafer as much as my SCX10. Hopefully a local picks one up soon so I can try his out!

If nothing else, they look like a blast to build.
