| Suspension setup help please
Hey all, I'm setting up my tf2 and wonder what the most ideal setup for good trail running/crawling but also bashing a good bit off of jumps. I have heard guys are pulling the rear springs out of the shocks and using 40wt oil in them with just the light leaf springs on all 4's, another is to use an adder leaf at the 4 corners with no internal springs at all front and rear and the last setup I found was using 1 adder leaf in the front only with no internal springs front and rear in the shocks and 30wt oil half filled. I'm stuck on what to do, I want to jump it but I also want it to crawl well with smooth articulation. Basically I'm looking for any setup tips/ideas that you guys are using and find works well for a stockish setup. Thanks for any advise you can give because I am clueless with this being the first leafed setup I have had |

ok no helper springs and no internal shock springs only add 20 watt oil in shocks and about 4 drops only and take the top of the shocks off and a rubber stoper in there or you can put a small oring on the shaft so it wount bottom out and you will have the best of bolth worlds good luck and have funn

I run 1 leaf all the way around. 25w oil with the internal spring all the way around. That not all there is to a set up, but some where to start. Check out some of my videos and see how mine handles. |
