I dont use the stock mount at all. Here you can see where the mounts of the old bumper I made travel back and where they bolt, two to the left of the servo and two under the motor.

Thanks I'm lucky that I get to weld for a living. Unfortunately I don't have a ton of time outside of GE Aviation to weld (Wife, 3 kids, couple dogs, buncha chickens and a mountain biking habit). Guys like Matzzilla are a huge asset to folks in the hobby. I can make stuff for my rigs and friends rigs but to be able to step up and do it and offer it out to guys here is great.

RC4wd can't be put aside here either. They've given us a great platform to build off of and while some say their accessories are too expensive, I just dropped $90 on an RCmodelex ARB bumper...Why? Because it's worth it. Bayareaaxial was interested in the front and rear bumpers I'd fabbed up so I sold them to him for a good price, then I added another $50 of my own cash to get the ARB. For me to find the time to weld something up for anyone besides myself or a local is tough. Locals are easier because they can be part of it...and bring beer

hahaha thats such a simple way of mounting this bumper. may i ask what thickness of sheet metal did you use forthe mounting plates. now i see how im going to mount mine up. i love how simple it is. by using the existing winch servo bracket. thansk for the great idea for mounting my bumper. you wouldnt happen to have a diagram ordemisions of the plates?

I used. 045" inconel. If you use regular steel you may want to go thicker. I left the sketch at home but ill post dimensions later for you.

I'm a longboarder so the plate on my 1:1's was always TOZOVR (toes over ie; hanging 5 or 10) Tozrovr is a play on that ...just a tip of the hat yo my Land Rover addiction scale and otherwise
