Default LMoosekey's RC4WD TF2 Class 1 Build

I'm excited that Rc4wd gave the chance to have this rig!
I received this rig last week and left out of town the next day. My first impression was WOW, the packaging was 1st class I couldnt believe how organized and simple it is.

Today I started working on it the frame went together really easy the instructions were a piece of cake. In about an hours time this is what I Accomplished.

Yea it been tuff for me it was sitting at my house for a week before I've had a chance to work on it!

I'm not 100% on the paint I almost always paint everything blue, on this one I think I'm going to paint it white with some blue stickers and I may flat black the hood.

well I got the leaf springs put together and found my first issue with the instructions. Its says to use a 3x6 screw from the top and it just doesn't seem right to me. so what I did is replace the screws from the bottom with a 3x16 screw put my spring on it and then used a nylon nut and it seems to work great.

Damn I want one of these...

dig the bed liner... You should call it the "LMoosekey Bed Liner mod"

Also the "LMoosekey 3x16 screw nylon nut through spring mod"

Matt I'm sure you'll have one soon! The bed liner I stole from Boob Dude but it's really cool.

So here are some updates on my TF2. The front leaf mounts have been flipped and the steering links moved for a high steer setup and the bed has been bobbed about and inch shorter. The rear of the chassis had to be cut about 1/4" shorter to fit the bob job. Metal sliders and bumpers are coming soon. Here are a few pics.

I decided to take this rig to Axial's Northwest Scale Championships for class 1. So time to make it competitive.

RC4WD sent me a 4 and 3 link kit and Rockedup Ricky sent me a new skid. I have the 4 link installed with shocks, I had to do some easy mods to make it work right. any pointers would be great
