Default BMoreScale's TrailFinder 2

Hey Everyone,

This is my first post to this awesome, informative website I've been getting tons of useful info from here for years and finally decided to join. I've been into RC for over 20 years, but this is my first true scale rig. I've been mostly into solid axle monster trucks but I think this is now my favorite truck. I didn't do anything dramatic with this build and kept it pretty much according to the manual. Anyway, here are a few pics, I apologize in advance if they are not sized properly:

The only additions to the stock kit were the scale hubs, crawler graphics stripes, Dinky interior, and JunFac driveshafts. I did add a micro servo to the steering wheel so it turns in unison with the front wheels- I'll try to post short vid of that later. I'm running a GT3B radio, Super Rooster ESC, Integy 35T motor, and a Hitec steering servo. Thanks for looking!

Thanks blumaro. Now I just need to go run this thing! It's going to be hard to see it take those first few tumbles but after a few scratches and dings I think I will get over it. I still plan on adding a light set and possibly a body lift and larger tires. I also want to make the gear shifter in the cab move when I change gears and add a driver. I'm going to try and link it somehow to the shift linkage, but I want it to be easy to take the body off still. I'll have to see though. After a few good runs I'll know more what I want to spend my time and money on.

Thanks! Not sure what's going on with the video, this is the first time I've ever even tried to do it. It works for me on my desktop pc but not on my phone for some reason. I'll try to mess around with it later and see if I can get it better.

I've been looking for a while and a couple of weeks ago I found this little skater dude at Target for ten bucks. He's the perfect size and his hands look like they were molded to fit on the wheel. Best of all, he's made of a flexible rubber and his arms have an internal jointed skeleton which makes him move very lifelike being hooked to the servo powered steering wheel. Not sure if the link for the video is going to work...
