| Finally got a TF2
Hello Just picked up my kit from RPP. Got the chassis built. Running a couple different things in this baby. Working on a white body cause thats the color I wanted and didn't want to deal with paint that would scratch off after rolling. CC SV3 Savox SA1230SG 499oz |

Cool they're great arn't they. By the way you can move the front upper shock mount further back, there's holes that line up specifically. |

I was going to do that but only seen the extra hole on the one side not the other. Now I moved mine to give extra steering travel but didn't add too much

The RC4WD CVD's are what you need for the steering, it vastly increases the travel.

Ended up painting the bed with 3 coats of matte black paint then a coat of plastic dip to give a texture of a bedliner. Also installed my RC4WD front bumper.

| Re: Finally got a TF2 Thanks Got a few plans in mind including graphics, tough armor box for batteries and a full 3/4 link suspension. Had alot of problems with the front wheels hitting the front body at full lock or under load. Adjusted everything I could to this point. Moving on to a linked suspension. |

Just ordered the 3 and 4 link for the Beast. Going to try some Gmade shocks I have laying around. Hope they hold up the weight of this thing. Also order another set of front shock hoops for the rear just in case I need them in the rear later down the road.

If the gmades are transitions they probably won't, and if they do it will be very top heavy on them and articulate/lean over too easily I suspect having had the cage myself.

| Re: Finally got a TF2 Quote: Well took the time and rebuilt the whole truck lastnight. This is where she sits at this point. I ran the 90mm shocks and used another set of stock shock hoops on the rear. Everything seems to work well but she is sitting very high in the air. Didn't expect those shocks to be able to hold the extra weight but they did! I see that the stock SXC10 hoops will work but from what I see, its only a little taller then the TF2 stock hoops. Any sugestions? | |
