|  Helical gears broken pinion shaft?
These had ~15min of runtime in my yard.... How did this happen? I would buy another set while waiting for Rc4wd's excruciatingly slow support, but they are OOS everywhere I looked.  |

Stock gearset had 20+hrs of runtime on them before the rear stripped, the front was knife edged, but not stripped.

It looks like it must be a manufacturing flaw breaking at the screw pin hole that way hopefully they replace it but i wouldnt hold my breath.

X2 and that's why I prefer flats on the shaft instead of holes, run two setscrews, one on each side with Loctite and good.

I haven't seen that issue before. I have dozens of packs of hard run time with nothing other than a stripped R&P at the back of one of mine after a year. Hopefully a new set will be on its way.

I've been running mine for about a year now and they have been through a few g6's and a scale comp. still running strong.
