Default New Trailfinder Build/ Photo Dump

Finally pulled the trigger on a new truck. On Black Friday the deal was too good to pass up on ordering a Trailfinder from RPP.
As soon as I got it out of the box I took the stock tires off and put on some brand new Rock Stompers on the stock wheels and switched out the bumpers for some heavier ones that I had bought.

Taking it through a little trail so that I could break in the suspension and other components.

Bored at 3 am working on mine and my girlfriend's crawlers getting them all ready for a small run ( just a couple of my trucks )

Decided to take the 2 front helper leafs out and leave the single one in and also bought a set of Gearhead Slot Mags and Mudslingers off a friend for $30.

Our trail that we are making was a little muddy because of rain so I decided to put the Mudslingers on.

After a couple of runs I decided to switch to a Tekin 35t and I put on the Rock Stompers to try out some rocks.

Since My truck wont stay on my pit stands because of the transfer case so I remedied that by buying jack stands

Welcome to the TF2 club! I am an Axial SCX10 fan. I have both the original and the SCX10II. But have to say I was bit by the TF2 bug. I love these rigs! You have to drive them differently than an SCX10. You have to choose your lines more carefully. I'm now building my third one, an LWB.

My first one, a heavily upgraded RTR.

My second, a built kit I bought off someone and spent some time refurbishing.

And the LWB I'm currently building.

Happy trailing!

I dig em man. I've been following your progress on you LWB her and there, I really like the idea of mounting the wagon wheels backwards.

I have my Dodge pretty well dialed in and to be honest it would go almost everywhere I pointed it and it was becoming boring to me. I wanted to get something that would be class 1 and a little more challenging to trail with to sharpen my driving abilities even more.

I have a feeling that this won't be my only Trailfinder.

Put an order in to RPP for a Warn winch and a wireless winch controller.

Just before my groups final run of the season I tried finding the weak spots of the truck. Needless to say I found them. Stripped 5 teeth off the rear gear and broke a drive shaft. I got lucky and found a gear on Amazon and had it 2 dayed so it should be here tomorrow.

For Christmas I got a rc4wd Mystery Box. I got 2 full sets of tires that I can use. A couple things of sale hardware, a set of fender flares for my tf2, a cage for a G2 cruiser and an interior set for one too ( I don't own one but I ordered one because of it). All in all it was a good mystery box.

Putting use to these jackstands to good use while replacing the diffs on the rear.

Also fixed my broken driveshaft issue by shaving down the transfercase output shaft so that I could use an Axial drive shaft.

Put on the Warn winch with a King Kong hook.

I almost forgot about this thread, Truck has gone through some changes. Currently has 1.9 growlers, gearhead decal kit, marlin crawler front winch bumper, RC4WD winch, 2 speed trans, Old Man Emu shocks, and red leafs.

Wend to a g6 style run and was the only c1 truck on course. Ended up finishing (after snapping my winch line 5 time) and a minor driveshaft failure. First c1 truck to complete the course so I'll take that
