Yeah we've been testing one pretty extensively. So far we've only added $60 in upgrades and it has improved vastly. The only other upgrade we'll probably make is a different speed control to get drag brake and a solid rod steering link. After we installed the new tires, memory foam, and lead weight up front we zip-tied the battery to the top of the servo and put some preload spacers on the left rear shock. I think this is an excellent start to making a more competitive RTR rig. To my suprise, the plastic links actually give quite alot. A great feature for beginners as we all know breaking parts is frustrating. |
