I think its kinda cool how you are showing us how a real manufactured product goes from concept to finished product. Sorta of a build thread for parts

What does "engineering samples" mean in terms of the over all schedule? What are the next couple of steps before they are ready to ship?

The engineering samples are the test sets. We have a list of members from this borad that will be getting a set to test for us, once they confirm the fit finish, and overall function of the parts they will then be given the OK to go into full production. The production run will take a few weeks.

If they were you would know. They should have shipped yesterday. There is an odd size bearing that is used on the stub shaft those will be here Monday. At that point we should be ready to send out the test samples.

just wondering on the cvd's is mip going to keep the thread for the nut the same ? with so many wheel wideners and extenders out there they all us the same thread as stock (metric). when mip made cvd's for losi and associated in the past they changed the thread. if i remember correctly it was the losi that got changed over to the associated thread. one was 10-32 and the other was 8-32.

ok never mind that question i just saw them on your website and see that they dont use a nut. on 1 set of rc4wd beadlocks i have for my tlt the nut area is recessed in with not a lot of room for a socket what size is the head of that bolt you guys are using. they do look very well thought out for strength in all the right areas i cant wait to get sets for my 3 trucks. has the question already been asked on roughly how much these will cost.

The bolt head is the same size as the wheel nuts.

We should have something in our hands today. If everything looks good they will go into production immediately.
