Im new to this, I have a SCX10 Jeep. What are considered scale items? I have in my Jeep. Ammo box, 2 guns, a fuel cell, a little army driver dude and a spare tire on the back. I can order a tow strap and see if I can find some more scale items. What else do I need? ANY TIPS please. I missed the last one in Sparks and went out and bought this SCX10 so I could go to the G6 after that. Thank you!!!

There are many simple things you can make yourself. A bundle of firewood, a coil of string for a rope. make a tow strap out of a long shoe lace with a couple of "s" hooks from the hardware store.

It sounds like your excellent on scale items. How much battery do you have?

So today I made 2 tow straps, one is thin coated medal wire kind with hooks on each end, the other is nylon rope with hoops, 2 bungee cords, and a skateboard.

I have Two 2s Duratrax Onyx 5000mah lipos and a Turnigy 5000mah. I do have a small 2200 3s 2200mah but I only use it for speed runs in my street cars.

Tow straps are fairly simple to make...I suck at making stuff....so it is really easy....shoe lace, s-clips, shoo goo, and heat shrink tubing. A few vids out there....here is one...

Sorry....missed this post...saw the other one.sounds like you are on the right track. I am new to scale world, and the G6 is an incredible experience. The people, the rigs, everything.

Take a small camera, a good attitude, and pack a lunch.... You are going to have fun. Semper Gumby....be flexible at all times. My first one I expected it to be all regimented and have a specific agenda. I had to quickly learn its like a semi formal get together, which is great....nobody stresses out.

The atmosphere is that of "community". Be ready to jump in and give a tow, help somebody carry gear to the car, set up a tarp, etc. A G6 is like nothing else....you will love it.

2 HOURS ON THE COLFAX ROAD. 1 HOUR AND A FEW MINS ON THE FOREST HILL ROAD. I'm not yelling it's the best way.

Iowa Hill rd through Colfax is a very slow and winding road. It's a beautiful road if you're not in a hurry.
I'll be going down to Auburn to get there and I live a couple of minutes east of Colfax.

Yelp I believe everyone from Sac and the valley will choose this route. I'm looking at 3 hrs from Antioch.

If you're coming from the west go to Auburn don't go to Colfax.
