hi jsowens, does this mean for me to run dig i must limit my self to either 3pk/4pk or KO Ko EX-1 UR TX/RX? do you know any cheap pistol type controllers? thanks in advance

No not at all. Any radio that either has a 3 position 3rd channel switch already installed, or one that can be modified can be used for dig. If you wanna go 2.4ghz you could pick up a dx3e which already has a 3 position 3rd channel switch on the radio for around $100. Right now I use a traxxas tq3 radio that I modded to be able to use dig on it. My entire radio including mods was less than $40.

It's been posted for a while, actually...first section of the tips and tricks thread. In the dig switch box part...there's a link to a video for modding the tq3 with a momentary push button switch, and a thread on this forum about modding the tq3 to a 3 position switch setup with epa's.
