I am leaning toward these :C23015SILVER Piggyback MSR11 Rock Crawler Shock Set 148 - Team Integy - Active Powersports
I have read that Integy makes quality products and they are pretty long @ 148mm. anyone running these or something similar? Also is 148mm too long???

Are the big bores going to cause clearance issues? Yhey seem pretty girthy..heh, " girthy". Anyways, I dont want to end up shooting myself in the foot, when the big boy swap comes along and having to again buy new shocks.

if thats the case then get the piggys mate but for custom chassis or extended ones the big bores are great

Alright I finally got unlazy for at least 30 seconds... I found that the stock RS10XT shock is 100mm ish... So if you want longer theres the start point. I an guessing 130mm would help with the shock to axle mount trick. I was looking at the Axial AX10 shocks roughly the same size as our stockers but they are advertised as bigbore. Then I found this part and this is where my shocks have failed. I was wondering if anyone had tried these on redcat shocks????Amazon.com: Golden Horizons Upper Shock Cover, Black: AX10: Toys & Games
Let me know what you guys think, have done or of another product like this for the redcat. Thanks

i ran bigbores on my 10 since the first day i had it. never had any issues with them and there 100 times better than stock. and for the record INTEGY does NOT make quality stuff.

I am now in need of some quality shocks. I am tying to the axle with a gmade chassis and 540 kit. I'm thinking 120mm but that won't rub on the servo. Any opinions?
