| Voltage regulator
anyone thought of running a voltage regulator on a 3s to cut the voltage to 9 VDC? be a few months before i upgrade my ESC, and the regulator kits i have looked at are like 5 bucks shipped.

i don;t think this will work, i need a 9 volt regulator that can handle 50 amps, not seeing anything out there like that.

As well, I've learned that the stock lansu esc is rated for 50amps nominal, but can handle bursts of 100amps as well. So your regulator should be sized around 100amps to be safe. My duel 45turn motors on 3s burst higher than 100amps and cooked an esc. It doesn't sound like a regulator is going to be your best option.
