| ive read somewhere...
Ive read somewhere to put the motor pinion smaller or bigger at the rear....wich one is it please and please explainthe reason to do so... cheers ;) |

either you decide will work. larger in the front or smaller in the rear. the object is to speed the front axle up.

^^^ Exactly. I run 8T pinion in the rear and 10T pinion in the front. Faster speed up front helps suck the truck to the ground while the rear has more torq.

Never did that cross my mind. I still run stock electronics and get clod stall I would have thought about making the rear go faster. But you guys make sense. That's why I love this forum I learn new things all the time.

It also helps in turning radius when you lock out the rear steer. The faster front end will tend to help pull the front around.

Putting an 8t in the rear will also help will climbing obstacles. As the slower rear will have less push and therefore have less tendency to want to drive under and back flip you. Over/under driveing the axles is what almost all the scale and sportsman drivers do, it is a quick way to simulate proportional mixing that is achieved buy useing two esc's on a twin moa truck. I personally run dual esc with proportional mixing and dual dig and it is awesome, some of the things I can climb now...

As D_J_ tell you the best way to go is upgrade to dual esc wtih proportional mixing if you 'r realy want to crawle I'm runing a M2 novak who give you proportional and dual dig |
