Default My Rs10 scale(ish) attempt

Hey everyone I'm new to the forum and to rc crawling in general. A few months ago, after doing A TON of research, i bought a Rs10. I was very happy with it but quickly caught the bug of modding and upgrading. Anyway, long story short, I ended up with THIS!!!

my 1:1 toy

before paint

painting complete

side view

a few shots on the work in progress faux rock course

I recently added a Tough Armor Trail Finder 2 front winch bumper but I dont have any pics of it on yet. Now I'm waiting on the mail man to bring my 2.2 super swampers.

Haha I've realized that. I was playing around last night and noticed the steering gave out followed by a nice plume of smoke. No big deal, OR SO I THOUGHT! I walked over and noticed a glow underneath. Picked it up and the servo literally had fire coming out of the back. I pulled the body off and shut it down and had to blow out the fire! So now it's time for a servo upgrade and lock out the rear steer.

Nice body But I think that it is little bit high, try lower the body and move shocks close to axles

Everything is OK after fire? Beside servo of course

Luckily everything was fine after the fire, except the servo haha. I definitely want to lower the body and move the shocks to the axles and inline with the wheel wells. I need to get some materials to make new links though because when I tried it my wheelbase got waaaay to long. Thanks for the positive comments guys!

Last night I did a little tweaking on the height of the body. Decided to go with a droop setup to try to keep it from looking to "Monster Jam-ish". I think it looks much better. Need to get some longer screws to mount shocks next to links. Ill get pics up later tonight.

Thanks to Docwolf, here are the most recent as promised!

Tough Armor winch bumper

And this is how it sits right now with droop

Front of the body is a little higher than the rear, the front shocks need to add weights or move battery forward a little to compress fully

It rubs a bit in the front wheel wells. The rear I trimmed and fully flexed I have about 1/8" gap. I'm pretty happy with it so far. Waiting on hardware to move shocks to the axle
