| What rod ends do ypu use on the vader skid for a gen7?
After much tinkering with my gen7, I just cant get rid of enough torque twist. My sons rig doesnt tt like mine and they are set up identical. So I ordered a vader skid. It says to use revo rod ends. When I look up revo rod ends, I small, long, steering and trac bar. Which do you use? I also read where some people say the revo ball is too small and has play in the vader skid. My front links have already been shortened so I just need short rod ends. What about offset rod ends? Wouldnt this help with articulation and binding? |

TRA1942 are the small (3mm thread) Revo ends that will thread onto the Redcat links.

For my sons' Everest 10s I used the stock rod ends and replaced the balls with Revo balls (I already had some from when I made links for my rig).

| Re: What rod ends do ypu use on the vader skid for a gen7? I switched SSD rod ends since they are more beefier than the traxxas and shorter than the RC4WD ones. The only hitch is the have the axial wraith sized ball in them, so I just took my dremel and enlarged the slots on the skid just a tad. perfect fit took about 10 - 15 minutes. since the RC4WD one where so long i'd have to cut way to much off my links to get my wheelbase to 313mm like I want.
