Chassis plate question(s)...

As I was problem solving some issues with my truck yesterday I noticed that the motor FLEXES the plastic plate a considerable amount under stress. Like, wow amounts of movement. Does anyone recommend a replacement for this part that can contain alll that flexing? It can't be good-in fact it wasn't because the new HH motor was moving so much it was coming into contact with one of the suspension link mounts... and causing some alarming shorting to occur!!! I moved the mount up, but I have concerns that the silly thing might flex so far as to hit the frame rail.

Also got my Lipo's but haven't had time to sort out the fancy charger I bought yet... and my checker isn't here yet either. Maybe tonight I can spend some time with the book and figure out how to configure the charger...

They make aluminum center plates for these rigs.. you can find them on Ebay pretty regularly.. hot racing I beleive makes one..

Thanks-can't find a Hot Racing version, but I did find the Redcat aluminum. Also purchased a HR aluminum transmission case... it is the main mount for the whole mess, so upgrade one, the next in line will fail... so upgrade it all!
