Default Air tank.

Would it be possible to use an empty Co2 canister for a scale air tank?

Two of them, cut in half and put back together end to end would make an air tank?

I've used the bottoms for headlight buckets.
I've used the smaller ones for large fire extinguishers.

Do you mean the portable carry around compressed air tank, or a Powertank?

Team3six has a great Powertank made with Co2 canisters:

That looks like coiled wire from a cell phone car charger, or along those lines...

You can make your own coiled "hose", just use regular black sheathed wire, wrap tight around a small diam screw driver shaft and Ta DA, coiled hose.

I don't think its the cost, its the satisfaction of being able to do it yourself cheap or free with parts just laying around.

Just a question for you all, are my tanks too expensive to afford? I kinda feel for the detail involved and what i do to make them look real I figure they are fair priced.

Not that I don't admire you all for trying because I think its great and one of the reasons scale has come so far. That's what this is all about. But I'm wondering if mine are too expensive to own or if its because these are delayed for release? I am currently making an updated version of my tanks that should be amazing.

The camera angle makes it look out of proportion.
