There are a few good places to get stuff. Let me know if you want more to visit. UPDATE CAD design on the steps and loft area. Just a first draft. I screwed myself with the garage layout so this is what I am stuck with. Loft area may be this size or larger, not sure yet. | |

Some people just have WAYYYY to much time on there hands!! lol. Just joking that is some wicked awesome work man!!!!! this is the most detailed and intricate thing I have EVER seen. Hats off to you. the crate motor and everything. how on earth do you come up with that stuff. something like this really takes a TON of talent and you've got it my man. It takes people like you to raise the bar and make this hobby what it is. |

Thats true, have plenty of time for the hobby just no cash LOL. Thanks for the kind words but there are plenty of skilled craftsman on here and other sites that are far better at this stuff then I am. I just like messing around with this stuff, it's my form of relaxation. Love all the little putzin stuff. Details are may favorite things to work on. |

Every update has a new surprise, very nice indeed. Your'e right, there are a lot of sources for 1/6th scale stuff, I like this one, and it's very entertaining as well: http://www.patchesofpride.com/index.html |

They make some great stuff. The fire extinguisher in the Jeep is from them. Great detail and very fair price.

Great progress! I didn't understand the issue at first in regards to building a loft until I saw the recent pics, I thought the garage was at least 2 jeeps 'deep' but now I know why you are so tight for space.

Ya, it's only 24" deep. Being 1/6 scale takes up a lot of room. I think it will work though. I might have to talk my wife into letting it out of the shop....if I can use the family room in the basement...which by the way I use more then anyone else in the family......I could expand the whole thing in to a complete foot print of 4' x 6' !!! Hmmmm how can I get that ?

Got some work done. Lower steps and landing done and weathered, white specs are spilled paint. Upper steps done. I am working on the hardwood flooring on the upper deck now, slow and tedious work. |

Not sure yet. I may be able to cut them down a bit and use them (not as tall as original). I'll have to wait and see once I get the loft up. Good news is ..the loft will make it much easier to hide the wires for the lights. I am going to use LED christmas lights. Should be nice and bright under it. |
