Trailer Safety chains

Made some safety chains for my trailer. I found some chain at Michaels and I'm still not sold on it, I think I should go with something smaller. I made some hooks out of paper clips but I would like to make them out of something a bit thicker. What do you guys think?

Now all you need is a coiled line beside it for trailer lights and brakes.

A couple hooks off a 3R winch would look good on the ends of your safety chains

Thanks. Trailer lights are in the future as well as an electrical connection at the hitch. I've had my eye on some hooks from garden trucking that I'll be ordering soon.

I think they look great, only better thing would be if you could find the chain in silver.

i think the chain is pretty bang on, the stuff on the trailers at work is about 3/4 the width of the tongue. so this looks really close to me..

PS Micheals is heaven for a scaler. I love going there hahaha
