Default My Utility Trailer -

Hello,
after a long time that no longer writing on the forum I decided to share with you my new creation.

Is a utility trailer that can be used with the scaler 1/10 and also with the wraith that is a little larger.

The project has been designed in a couple of days. the first was a prototype in styrene to verify measurements and joints. It was later realized laser cutting.

The trailer is made entirely of metal 2mm laser cut. The parts are fitted together and secured with small welds.

I made the axles for the wheels. have been made by an aluminum bar 30mm.

Once cut parts, 7 in all. I joined started to assemble the trailer.

The parts all fit together perfectly but for safety I decided to give some small welding point.

The fender are folded along the lines and then welded to the side plates

mounting the hubs of the wheels ..

for the wheels I chose to use those from 1.9 to axial honcho. The trailer is designed for use in heavy-duty off-road, such as wheels better?

The tailgate should be removable. I thought of a system that comes straight from the watch. I made two snap pins.

Now we mount the spare wheel on the frame.

I am thinking of use this space for a container or other tools.
Built in styrene diamond plate

I suggest you give?

Still missing the hitch, painting and some other finish, but the result looks good.

THANK YOU to everyone for the compliments!

These days I added the towbar and I painted the chassis with a steel color to hide the welds.

As soon as possible I'll show you the other pictures.

I have a friend who lives near, working on laser cutting machines.

I draw, design and pass to him the dxf for cutting.
He is not modeller!
