Everything is still up in the air. Everyone is pushing hard but there has been a lot of red tape.

That sucks. I'm glad we don't have to do any red tape to have an event. When they say public land here ,they mean it.

Area 51 Is not public, it's Utah school trust lands it adds a whole new level to pain in the ass, we are trying to get things done as fast as possible, you will all know as soon as we do.

Oh , well thats a different story ,It's on a private school's property.
All we got to do at Disney is show up.
Once Jason was having his last chance qualifier at the State park for the Nats there and the Cop showed up and said he needed a permit to be on the park. So the cop gave Jason a ride to get the permit. Then Jason didn't have enough money on him and the cop fronted it to him.

I think I have a better spot. I've been crawling on it sence I started crawling. It's awesome scaler spot, a mini Disney you might say. It's 3 miles to a casino, lots of hotels ,tons of places to eat,in between two airports, easy to get to in any vehicle.

The comp area is mostly rock, but there's everything there too.

yes I would like to know I would love to make this years last year came at the worst possible time for me but I miss visiting my family on west coast great reason to do so.

If this taking to long do we have a back up spot like Lucia falls again!? I would rather set a spot and start planing now for tickets and hotel than later.
Maybe work on a plan for next year for Utah.
Some guys need to get time off from work months ahead of time along with plane tickets cheaper.

If the Utah thing doesn't happen then I don't think there will be one in the western half of the country this year. It's getting too late to plan one for this year if you haven't started already.....there's alot involved in planning an event like this. I'm hoping that the Utah guys can get things worked out for this fall, otherwise I might have to plan a trip to Pennsylvania.

Who in Utah is working on making this happen? I live in utah and know that the club Utah Scale Crawlers Alliance would love to help in any way possible and get this thing moving. Is there any thing that any of us from the state can do to get involved and help make this happen?

UTRCRC is working on it, we are still waiting to hear back from the state, nothing is easy in this state.

Is there anything that we can do to help? Is there a way to keep all of the utahns posted on whats going on. Communication is key on things like this.
