Is the stock panels at the door wider than the inside to inside of the front wheels? Yes the chassis is legal but I don't remember if the stock body is... |

Good catch doublej. You'll need to run a different body on the TH to make it legal Kj. The inside of the front tires need to match the body at the doors, stock it is too narrow. |

If I decided to run my Mog in class 1, Would these fender flairs be legal for tire coverage? Also wondering about my battery, if I just black tape it will I be fine or do I need something more to hide it? Thanks Last edited by chino63; 04-20-2014 at 08:10 PM. |

Dean, the rules just say that you have to have 1/2 tire coverage with a flair so I don't see why it wouldn't be legal....not exactly what we were shooting for with the rules but legal none the less. As far as the battery and wiring goes, it would be nice to have some kind of panel to hide all that but if you cover it with tape you should be OK. Maybe shoot it all with some flat black paint Maybe the Utah rule Nazis can chime in. I think they are going to inventory the raffle prizes tonight, so they might be busy right now.... |

Thanks Tim, Tomorrow is booked and the latest batch of LED's for MadDog I just potted didn't cure properly so I have to mill out all the epoxy and redo them. C3 may not be done in time and C1 as well as C2 are having some issues. Just trying to see what I don't need to do at this point. |

I'm ready to go so I'm just going to lend a hand wherever needed. A little lexan should cover that battery right up or some foam, I have and can bring both if you need it. Last edited by bmuzz1; 04-20-2014 at 09:58 PM. | |

Dean like Tim said the wheel flairs are ok, and try to hide the battery, if you don't have time then it will be ok see you this week.

Thanks guys, I'll be working on my crap for sure. Going to get as much done as I can before we leave, just hope I can figure out the electrical issues I'm having with my DX6. Maybe I just need a new radio system.
