Nice video and nice truck. I think the best was that the terrain looked to fit the scale of the truck, but still took some skill to run it. Nice job.

Thanks for the feedback guys. When I put this one together teh main thing I wanted to do was replicate a real truck and make you feel as if you were watching a 1:1 truck on the trail.

The lights flickering is how the RC4WD light kit works. When you get on the gas the light up. When you get on the brakes the tail light brighten up. I think they might have used the same circuit on both ends.

I have a bunch of spare footage from this shoot, mainly of the other trucks that were out with us that day, Ill try and cut something else up and get it together

The very first shot, and the dirt pile at 2:03 are just spot on! Love it!

the tires are nicely tucked in. What kit/axle/chassis did you use? Also, who makes the Jeep body?

Its a stock Axial Dingo with a Proline body on it. The wheels and tires are stock as they look like the ones on the real truck

Default Awesome!

Awesome, truly awesome! To see this Jeep on the printed page of the magazine is one thing, but to see it in action is awesome! You did incredible work on the scale appearance and to see it perform like it did is just icing on the cake!

Glad you think so. We are trying to get the magazines to do more stuff like this... we need people to call RC Car Action and tell them that its teh "icing on the cake" to a good article

Thanks for teh good words

That was awesome. My favorite part was 0:52 where he tears up the dirt hill.
