2012 Spring Offroad Festival in Columbia, SC

For the second year in a row we are bringing Offroading to Columbia, SC. Last year at our first event we raised over $1500 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and this year we hope to top that.

This is a 1:1 event as well as an RC, but it takes competitors from the RC side to make it great. Ryan informed me last week that this was the same weekend as the East Coast Championship in Alabama and I hate that they overlap. I'm hoping that there will be some interest in some people that dont plan to make the drive to Alabama.

I'll update this with more info when I know it.

This year we will have the RTI again as well as a fullsize 1:1 Teeter Totter for trucks/jeeps/cars to challenge their vehicle control skills. With any luck we will have one in the G6 as well.

I am totally new to the idea of G6 so any help would be appreciated in setting up an awesome course. We will have access to rocks/logs/ rip rap/ dirt to make the course, but I'm hoping for some ideas from the G6 Competitors.

I knew alot of you guys were going to ECC but we are trying to do it the same weekend every year to make it more predictable.

Its in the same location on lake murray blvd by the furniture barn as last year.

If any of yall arent going to ecc let me know, we could use help... a lot of it.

Also, we will be setting up the course the weekend before so help then would be great as well.

Ryan had asked me to help with this, unfortunately I didn't know it was ECC weekend. I'm going to try to make the trip to Alabama this year but will help as much as I can and plan to attend if I can't make ECC.

Yep...I didn't know either...we had a meeting for this event on Monday last week and then I think it was Tuesday I saw the thread for ECC and realized they overlapped
