Anyone want to do some crawlin this Saturday sometime around Greenville? Was going to the gulches event but it got canceled. So Saturday has opened up.

Only thought that comes to mind is falls park. But anywhere is good for me.

Falls Park sounds good to me and I think I can make it. We should maybe get there early cause it can get awful crowded on nice Saturdays. If we get enough interested we could possibly have a comp rehearsal to get a better feel for comp situations. Kinda like a dress rehearsal for a wedding....well maybe not a good analogy. Might help with the nerves when at a real comp and also somewhat satisfy the "comp withdrawals" we are experiencing.

Hopefully, Tommy can make it out this weekend. We missed him last week.

Sounds good, what time is considered early? Weather says it should be somewhat nice up until between noon and 2pm, then it gets wet. On another note, what is up with my post count? I know I have posted more than 4 times but my post count never goes up.

I was thinking 8 or 9 was early enough. Maybe closer to 8 if rain is due at noon. I noticed your post count is stuck on 4 but though maybe it was something with my view not the site. Maybe not...

When you post in general chit chat or regional threads your post count does not go up.

Yep you have to post in the TECH sections for the posts to count Just don't start posting "nice rig", "looks good", etc or they will delete all of them and sometimes you'll end up with an infraction...and with enough of those they'll ban you from the site

Honestly, that doesn't make a lot of sense. Locally is all I'm really interested in, but I have to post at least 30 times in sections that I don't care about just to get access to the classifieds?! Doesn't make sense. Unless I am missing something or read the rules wrong.

Well this site is meant to be a source of information for everyone...primarily regarding modifications to crawlers. They are encouraging you to take part in the TECH sections. You can also pay the $20 for a 1 year subscription and then you can search more often, and have access to the classifieds...and maintain your 4 posts :thumbsup:

So between 8 and 8:30? Where do I need to go? I suspect the rocks are under the pretty bridge. I guess it won't be too hard to find a group of guys with rc crawlers at 8 in the morning on Saturday... Lol. Well, y'all then.

I'll try to be there by 8. We're usually down at the low part of the river around the bend near the covered picnic area. You'll find us no problem. There's some nice rocks down there and good spots for courses. You'll love it.
