IIRC, there is a 10t pinion out there...I might need to try to find it.

Here's a 10T pinion:10 Tooth 48 Pitch Hardened Steel Pinion Gear
I'm not sure if they'd work for you; just figured I'd see if I could find one."thumbsup"

Thanks for the heads up GJ. These bergs run off 0.6mod gears....10T pinions are a bit tough to find, but I had a local hook me up with some. "thumbsup"

I completely forgot about Berg gears being 0.6mod. Glad you got ahold of some and I can't wait to see some vids when you get it wired back up!

Re: Ivory

Well, hopefully the wiring will be finished this week. My family is out of town (I have to work through the rest of the week), so my evenings will be less hectic than usual.

If the bergs are 48 pitch, RC4WD has 10 tooth pinions

JeremyH 12-21-2011 09:59 AM

Re: Ivory

They are 0.6mod. "thumbsup"

I am going to give 3s a go. I have no idea how it will do though. I thought you might have tried them, gave up and went to 4s.

I do wish there was a tiny pinion avail though. I would think a 9,10t pinion would be great.

there are 10 tooth pinions available but i have broke at least 7 of them...

Re: Ivory

Damn....that's not good to hear. Yeah, I was told not to overtighten them.

So, what pinions do you run in your super Jeremy?

What is the gear ratio of the berg gearboxes? As in 65:1 for the super Bully's.

Yeah, I actually stepped down to 3S (from 4S on my bullys) for that exact reason. I think I put the 12 in the back and 13 in the front of mine. I just need a bit of time to drive it and see how it feels.
