I narrowed these wheels up to 1.25" total (using 0.75" spacers) and they turned out PERFECT!

The bead fits perfectly, no sidewall bulge and it doesn't seem like the foam will slide around like it did on the blasts. I am quite happy with these Dlux beadlocks.

If you did run bolts, you could probably get all your weight on two bolts with nuts so your weight would be ridiculously low and all the way out to the wheel without having to mod the holder.
wrong,

the tungsten slugs are much more compact allowing you to concentrate more weight into a "specific" area....not just under the axle.

You can get two bolts to weigh 7.5oz?
another great point.

with these slugs you can remove weight in smaller increments as well, not overly affectiing the concentrated weight point. (point being used in a 3 dimensional view)

Looks good.

Did you end up with the same over all width as before?

Nope, it's a bit narrower. Just a hair more than 13.75" front and rear.....and I have room to adjust the hex widths some to make it wider.

And now that I think about it, my names Jeremy, I have chops, and a super with the same chassis. Considering possession is 9/10th of the law, this thread is almost as much mine as it is yours!

So, maybe we should go back to bully axles on our super? What do you think?
