Michael and I hit up the beach for an evening run....

I am absolutely LOVING this truck with these new motors. They are incredibly smooth and have plenty of speed!

You bet it was! We should have left the 1.9's at home and driven more packs in the supers!

I figured I'd try out some of those new RPM rod ends....they have a little more material around the shaft of the rod end:

I also got a set of Ti link sliders:

I have always had to a bit of trouble on all my trucks keeping the stock cap out of the chassis...these new rod ends take care of that! They also make the shocks slightly longer which should be perfect for this truck. Also, with the stock plastic caps, I have found that if you overtighten them, they will leak slightly...that should not be an issue with these caps.

The caps as they arrive:
These are F#$K!N COOL, nice addition

Ivory never ceases to amaze, keep it Jeremy!

The rpm rod ends look good. Where did you get the rod ends from and where did you get your TI sliders from. The build is looking good. I just got mine out on the rocks yesterday. Really liking how light it is. It seems very nimble. I haven't finished the knuckle weights yet though.

Thanks guys!

Dave, the rod ends are made by RPM and I got the from Amain. The package said you can dye them whatever color you want.

The sliders are made by a vendor here. He hasnt finished getting the tooling setup to mass produce them yet, so he's asked me not to give out his info, but when he does....

Yeah, these big ass trucks sure are a ton of fun to drive!!

The rod ends look great! It's too bad RPM doesn't make any smaller ones for the shocks... They'd really finish off the look.

Nice... They go great with your rig. All you need now is white tires.
