I know its not a bruiser but this seemed like the best place to post this        Just picked this up, Has been sitting in pieces in a shed for 20 years, I just did a little clean-up and re-assembled it with some updated electronics a new body set came with the deal also, but we haven't been able to locate it yet |

it has only taken me 20 years to talk the previous owner into selling it to me, in 1982 when they came out I was only 10 and had to settle for a Hotshot instead of the Blazer or Hilux......and I still have the Hotshot !!!

Nice, if i remember correctly the blazer had the same freewheel locking hubs as in the hilux, i haven't been able to get any extra hubs for my hilux, rogue elements did a limited run of these but hasn't done anymore of them, are yours working good? check that they haven't stareted to round off, to me the ability to lock unlock the hubs is one of the greatest scale parts on these models.

So cool, I love vintage rc's in fully functional form, great piece of RC history.... Don't forget to use it on some light trail riding from time to time..

I had one EXACTLY like that,same colors and everything. Also had a Kyosho Rowdy Baja. That thing hauled a$$! Sure wish I kept them both. Those 2 were my introduction to the world of RC's.
