This might be a dumb question, but here goes. I have a TQi Summit; if I got another receiver, could I use the TQi Summit radio for a Re Re bruiser (and have 100% Bruiser functionality)? I've been drooling over the Bruiser for a year, and I'm thinking about finally getting one.

I dunno man but you need 3 channels and the third needs to be able to swing a servo to 3 positions to shift the transmission. You can run these on a 2 channel radio if you want to leave it in one gear all the time. The kit comes with little plastic locks for the transmission to keep it in gear. I use a 4PL to run mine. I haven't figured out why the instruction manual says you have to have a 4 channel radio...I guess so you have one channel left for accessories.

yes, It will bind............ Im playin with the TQI right now on my Spartan, My 1/5th scale Savage and my sons Wraith w/full telemetry off an Ipod and Im impressed... All the sensors were cheap and easier to install than my spektrum stuff.. But, JHTrey is right. For all three speeds to work, youll have to adjust the throw. TQI allows you to do that from the Ipod..pretty sweet. |
