Default CD's Pimp Cane Rebuild

Last year True Blue and I had a great time,I was let down a couple of times by breakage,Every time something broke it was beefed up.Now with alum. cases and tubes with cvds it was very reliable but esc's where a bit beat up being on the axles and the old mpi reg. seem to be get hot and with all the weight, steel gears, alum. axles, batteries mounted to knuckles and servo mounts moving, the HS5955tg had trouble steering in some situations. So on with the new beef:

Of course the JP Customs 17" Pimp Cane chassis
RC4WD Steering linkage
Hand brothers BTA for front RC4WD servo mount for rear
JP Customs Long servo arms
Castle BEC
14.8 Lipo
A couple of alum. plates for esc's and lipo to ride on
JP Customs 35T Warrior Motors to come

Do you have a build thread for your original True Blue? I'd be interested to learn about your axles a little more......it looks like those axles are some kind of alum. clod gear case with RC4WD raptor axle tubes and knuckles????

you'll like that BTA kit. i have one, and i would suggest rounding the sharp edges off all the way across on the stainless tierod plate. it likes to dig into the rocks the way it is now. i need to pull mine and do the same.

Better re-build, b/c the Hustler has been sent to rust. Droop has been dropped, mamba's have been added with some BEC assistance and a longer wheelbase.

IT'S ON YOU OKIES.

Thank yuu,I'm running a DX6 so I have at least 4 channels and seem to hold up to the 7 volts to power the servo's all the other ground rx's don't seem to like that.
