Good clean design. For a first or even tenth tuber it looks great.

Looks great, mine sits at 17.5 and 3.5. Did you use 3/16 or 1/4 for your tubing. Looking forward to more .

1/4, the 3/16 looked kinda small when I tried a peice, it's just going to be a back yard basher...lol. Looks like I'll have to cut the stock rims down to be able to get the links mounted correctly.

Looks good, maybe a bit high at 4.5 though. What upper link mounts are those, they look really tall.

I fabbed them myself, I think i put them at 3/4" above the top of the axle. Is that too far? I'm hopping after the shocks are on the GC wil go down to about 4" or so?

I would lower them about 1/2". This is the only pic I have right now, but you can see that my links are closer to the diff.

Ok, got the links figured out, mounted the shocks, servo and steering linkage. Waiting on radio, ESC, battery, motors.

have you thought of moving your lower links to the top of the knuckles

it will give better clearance on your links

Ya, it just looked like a good place to mount them.....lol, I'll prob change to the upper knuckle before long, I just replaced the lower links from 1/4" to 3/8" for strength. thanks for the idea.

I'd lower it. Set it up so your upper links are parallel to the ground or close to it. It will be way more stable.

Drilling the links for your shock mounts may not be a good idea. It will weaken them. I'd use cable clamps or something similar instead.

My 2c.

That was my first choice redrustbucket, I looked all over town and couldnt find any.....or anything that would work also I thought if I mounted them at the top of the knuckle they would hit the axle brace when flexing. I made the first lower links from 1/4" but changed them to 3/8 for strength. does it make that much of a defferance of the lower links to be that way?
