I love the ghetto lock out idea. I think I get it but would love a clear explanation.
Just finished a 2.2 clod pimp style build. I'm too wide and too low. I'm running Axial beadlocks and lizards.
Mine needs more power!!! 85 turn/9 t pinions on 8 cells, cc-bec, rear dig, pretty capable as is, but I think taller tires and narrow track will be even better

The Lock out is just 1/2in Washers. One thing to keep in mind is. They add stress to the Plastic C's. Which are already the Weakest part of the Clod Axle. Taller tires would help out. 5.5in is a good number. If you want more power. Drop down from 85T to 60T or even a 50T. That would be the cheapest why to get more WheelSpeed which will produce Higher RPM and seem to give more Power. That or throw a 3 cell Lipo on it. But it will still be slow.

Hey, i bet those ceased up bearings or bushings in the rear is whats causing some of that clod stall. But it looks good. I like those tires, they were fun to drive when i had em on that Grover tuber.

THANKS FOR THE TIPS. Simple effective. I think I'll go the 50t or even 35t route. Thanks
