Yup, that's the spot. There's two paths you can take...one right next to the falls and one just proir that shoots down the hill away from the falls. You guys are killin' me! The Flats are pretty fun. We'd go up from Waianae coast towards Kaena point and hit the flats. Nice view from up there. Kaaina, you might know a buddy of mine named Laurence Brito. He lives in Haleiwa and builds a few Jeeps for folks, but he drives a cool red FJ. |

Yeah, sent it. What is the lead time till it gets printed? Always thought of doing it, but I guess I just needed a kick in the butt. J/K about the plane ticket thing, but all are welcome here I have some serious matters to tend to in January & if it goes as planned I'll deffenetly be going on a extended vacation. I want to go crawl w/some of you guys. Don't know where yet, but Colorado, Moab, GR all sound good. |

Wow, could I predict the future or what! Well after getting back from Moab, I knew I needed to make mods to The Sickness. As most of you know, it went for a little swim at BFE. Fried a TR2 & maybe a DX6 RX, I still need to test it. So, the frist thing I did was grab 3 Revolvers from www.HolmesHobbies.com since I was at his house. Thanks JohnRob. I already had a Mamba25 from a previous crawler, so I picked up another from the LHS. Programmed them on the laptop & wired them up. I only got to crawl w/this once before I got my knee fixed, but it was quite a crawl. These motors are the BOMB!! With 100% drag brake on the rear & 60% in the front, it will just stop on any incline & not roll at all. I also don't have to worry about the rear tires spinning backwarsd while doing front digs. The torque is amazing, I never got them to stall. Also got rid of the six cells that were on the rear knuckles, don't need 'em anymore. Next, I wanted to get a BTA steering set-up. Kevin @ www.TheCrwalerStore.com hooked me up with TTR's BTA kit. Thanks Kev. Here's some pics. Before After BTA & Revolver There was some clearance issues w/the servo & link. I just moved the servo above the mount. Used some TLT parts to extend the steering link down. Anyone see a problem w/this? Last edited by DISTURBIN' tha PEACE; 10-12-2006 at 05:20 PM. | |

yes they are brushless, outrunner type, i have 1 clod with them an 1 tlt with one bl also, you can program every feature through a usb cable castle link , from start up power, % braking among a few other adjustments, these motors are awesome and so are the mambas, i should be getting 2 more combos for my other clod sometime this week. Awesome rig BTW, i also have that agressor steering on my NN, some clearance issues with the links but got them worked out. |

^^ What he said. Also the drag brake works when you let off the throttle. According to JRH, he is out of stock & having a difficult time importing them. He is working on a replcement motor. pbs- it's 16" WB. Thanks for the compliments guys. If any one has this agressor steering on thier stick, could you post a pic. I'd like to see your servo link & clearance. |

disturbin' i think the problem is that these agressor setups where made with clod racing in mind not crawling, so the articulation was not taken into account when designed, mine hits the motors if i don't use spacers.l also i think regular front steering have more capacity then bta IMO

You're probably right. I just wanted the clearance in the front. I still need to test it on the rocks, won't be for awhile though.
