Which axle tube mod do you guys prefer? 1) Using blind nuts and jb weld or expoxy? 2) Tapping into the housing itself? If you tap, what size do you do? Thanks! |

We tap both the tube and the housing for our kits. #6-32 threads. The blind nuts with JB weld have a tendency to hold more torque, but are much more labor-intensive to complete. |

Thanks CPE, do you have axles tubes/housing that you sell like that or is it a kit that I buy and tap myself?

Ours is a hardware kit with instructions and you just tap the parts yourself. P/N CPE-AXL3 on our website. Thanks!

Well, I ended up getting a 6-32 tap and just going for it - so far all is well. I guess time will tell and I'll know better when this thing gets fired up!
