Competing? Unless a comp scene magically appears in England then no, I don't plan on competing I will use a reciever pack but the ground is wet and muddy at the moment, and the RX pack wouldn't fit in the waterproof tupperware box.

Well, from looking at it, I can't. Only when it moves does it become clear which is which. UPDATES: I scrapped the BTA system, the servo was too weak to do all the work, and I couln't fit another one in there. So I'm now running 4 servos, and I intend to run two RX packs, bypassing the RX so as not to burn it out with the pull from 4 servos . For the moment, the narrowed clod tyres are fine, but the stock motors aren't. They have a massive pull, and are practically melting my batteries, and they are short of torque. My plan is to keep the stock pinions but run 65T lathes, suggestions? |

I know the lathes are better than stock, but what do you guys think about running 65Ts with stock pinions?

Hmmm...do you think the final wheelspeed will be pretty much that of a 55t with 9t pinions?

Right then, time to bring this thread back. I made some progress, got the motors in, battery mounted, motors wired PROPERLY, and body developed. Then I went bashing... ...and had a blast. I LOVE THESE MOTORS!! Last edited by 4link4eva; 11-14-2006 at 12:03 PM. |
