Thumbs up Built my first Clod Axles

I got the fronts done and used all ball bearings, and the TTR CVD. What else can I do to beef these up? I am trying to decide if the rear should be the TTR straight axle or the CVD. Do most people run a rear steering?

Does anyone sell a 1/4 scale steering mount?

I am also trying to decide if I want to use there diff assembly. I guess the jist of the ball diff is that if one side starts to slip, it will transfer power to the other side instead of unloading?

The most awesone rock rings:

If your building this truck up as a super class crawler, over 12.5 wheelbase. Rear steering is required or at least very helpful.

Get it done, come to the mwrca comp on the 6th

You'll want to lock the diffs for crawling. Look here -----> what happen to the sticky on how to lock clod diff

for instructions on do it yourself.

Or Check the www.thecrawlerstore.com for a cool locker to replace the diff.

it'll add weight and you wont have to worry about stripping out the hex.
