www.prolineracing.com and www.parmapse.com make some sweet bodies, be sure to measure out the wheel bases and lengths to make sure it fits good.

Thanks man! I'll take a look.

Here are some updated pics:

I cut a piece of aluminum from a used Savage chassis to relocate the servo. It needs some tweaking but works better for now.

I'm experimenting with the steering. I had it behind the axle and the upper link would hit the servo when articulating in one direction. (The servo was mounted verticle to clear the motor)

I think the New Era chassis is awesome so far but the steering has been nothing but problems.

1. The hardware interfears so you need to be creative when assembling it.
2. If anything comes loose (and it will) you have to disassemble everything including removing the motor to tighten it back up. (use threadlock)
3. The servo horn comes within 1mm of the motor.
4. The plastic steering arm bolts hard against the hubs so you can't tighten it or the steering will bind. (Which results in slopy steering)
5. The upper link hits the servo when articulating.

That's enough complaining. Can you tell I don't like it?

Nice truck.Looks like it will work alot better lowered down.I made a homemade copy of the rockbull frame for my crawler because I liked the look of it when I saw it last year.

Haha, just remember radio's work through livingroom windows! If you're out of commission, that just means you have more time to work on it.

Looks way better CG wise and with those nice shocks on there. Did you switch your steering setup?

LOL..Funny. I was standing in the street while climbing a rock wall. I didn't know the wall was surrounded by poison ivy plants. (nothing has any leaves on it yet) When I was done I picked up the truck and brought it down to my work shop. The damage was done....

The new steering setup is much better. I raised the steering link up about 1/4" so the servo linkage is at less of an angle. It made a huge improvement and the stering is now up high and out of the way. I'll post pics tomorrow.

I still need to swap the plastic servo horn for a metal one and make a lexan antenna mount. I'm currently running an associated 10th scale GT body for now. The FORD F650 just doesn't clear anything. I hate to hack up a nice body. I may just throw it on the savage.

Thanks guys!
