I just watched a video of a guy doing front and rear digs with his clod. It was awesome to watch him negotiate through cones placed closer together than the length of his wheel base!!! |

was sworn to secrecy about details, etc!!! I think he is going to post it very soon and it will blow you all away. I know a few others on the forum have seen the video as well and they can all vouch that this thing is going to be very, very tough to beat in competition.

Rock1024 had dual esc's and a 7ch stick radio in his tuber a year ago. It was cool but he had trouble driving it and went to a normal setup. Nice thing about the 7ch radio was that he could set it to mix the throttle and then it would run both motors together. I built a black box a year ago that would run a resistor inline with the front motor to help relieve front axle spin. Then I wired it to the rear motor to shut it off and do front burns. I did not have it hooked to the radio so I would reach down and flip the switch, but I really did not find it that useful unless you were on flat ground. If you were in the rocks the outside rear tire would not drag and it would just spin the front tires. I hope you find different results though. | |

ummm....hello?? LOL I've had the selectable rear motor (via RC none-the less) for a good while on my old clod... http://www.clodtalk.com/viewtopic.php?t=8555 It doesnt work if you have good traction, you really need wheelspeed to get either axle to "slide". But it IS cool, and VERY effective if you can get 'em to work. |

How many times are you going to tell people that you have a "ROCK RAIDER" chassis. First you tried to get away with it on your other truck, after seeing it in person I can say that it in no way shape or for had any relation to any rock raider we ever sold. Now in your sig it says Independant-rock raider however in the pics that you have posted above its quite clear to me that you, again do not have a rock raider chassis. I am assuming that you havent put all that work into a chassis just to toss it. We currently do not have any rock raiders, however I do not want people to think that the chassis that you you had or are currently assembling is a rock raider. So please refrain from using the term Rock Raider in your sig, unless you have one. Sean |
