Have you had it out on the rocks yet? I run a 17" TCS stick and I know how it works. I also have a 18" Pimp Cane that when it's bound up between two rocks and you get free it unloads and goes where ever it wants to. I'm looking at your design which is thinking outside the box, and some cool ideas happen when we do that. I can't see how you can control the spring unloading when your bound up and get loose from it. Do you have a way to control the recoil of the spring? Shocks compress and recoil back, but they have a end point. |

this is a great idea but i too would be concerned about lack of dampening. it would be awesome to somehow have a rotary dampener. but keeping the chassis sleek would be the problem.

How about 2 springs maybe one iside the other or ? placed opposite direction for load?
