some pics I took after I regreased my portals. They work good by adding extra low gearing and higher clearance and all. But I had to cut off the extra threaded shaft length to work with my adapters. After never receiving a response from the integy corporation about the problem. Their is alot of freeplay or gearwind which I do not like. Look at the last pic and you see how much contact the gears have. Would have posted sooner, but I needed to get my dx6 radio setup and dual esc's and a 9.6v battery all set up. By the way, according to the spektrum tech the b6000 receiver does not handle more voltage just shuts off all functions in case of radio signal loss. Thanks for posting photos. I see what you mean about the gear mesh. Looks way to sloppy. No wonder the portals have so much back-lash.

Been watching this thread for a while now and not sure what your oppinion is of them? Do you like them or not? They seem to be comparable to the other portals i have seen out there but there price is better and are do these fall in the catagory of "you get what you pay for"?
