If you run 2 pack it will be faster than that with the 6 tooths, with the 10 tooths it will be stupid fast for a truck like that.

if you're intent on that gearing you might want to go back to the 55T or 65T motors but I would suggest gearing down to a 6 or 8 tooth first

Fast is what i want I can control the speed though. I am re-building the jk now to handle the higher rate of speed. My savage shocks are a bit on a stiff side for the speed i have now cuz teh rear would hop sometimes. I might have to change the spring rate to soften it up some and also lower the height a little. I will be installing a sway bar (somehow) in the rear to handle the cornering but still allow flex and also widen the track about 1/2" for stability. Everything else is ultra-beefy and can handle the excessive speed and wrecks that come with it

I installed the 35t integies and WOW. With still one battery and 10t pinions, this thing goes! I no longer have clod stall and all four tires spin at the same rate of speed, all the time. It's great now. It's also alot faster and makes hill climbs more manageable. I got almost 50 minutes runtime out of my 3600 battery.

I'm still aiming for twin 3300 mah's for even more speed and power. Whenever $$ permits.......

In the first post you were running This:

And suffered stall...
Then in the last post you said you installed 35t integys and 10t pinions
and now it really goes...
You lost me. What did you do to improve performance?

Yeah i lost myself there too when i read it. I meant to say i got new 35t integies and tossed out the previous pair i had. I dunno if something was wrong with them or not but i put in two brand new 35 motors and also slow charged both batteries and that made a hell of a difference. The body actually gets muddy now

cool, glad it worked out for you. I'm just testing a new rig, my first. 85t lathes with 9t pinion. Stalls badly, Considering my next step. A couple of folks have suggested 55Ts. Maybe I'll go that route. Run OK on 6 cells, better on 7. Wonder how 8 would do? Do I here 9?

More power will do it. I just hooked mine up to two crappy rc batteries (1500 mah) and DAMN the thing flies like an emaxx. With one battery it's perfect for 4wheeling, with two it's more suited for baja racing. I say up the power and maybe go with a lower pinion? I'm no expert though..

care to share your specs?

Sure...
Gecko 60/40
Proline beadlocks w/Moab XL 7oz weight in front 3 in back, cut the tire foams
kinda like a a hummer h1 runflat insert. I gues kinda like a mohawk. Work great!
3/4" wheel wideners
85T integys 8trear/9tfront
Tekin r2
TQ3 modded
looks like Maxx shocks and springs(dunno, I bought the chassis used came with springs

Only one choice for Body - HPI Bronco - haven't started that yet:
why?

1:1's and 1:64's are so much fun, time for 1:10

Are those 85T's SLOW or can they kick up some mud? My 55's had a little wheel speed and a great crawl speed but i needed more spin in the mud. I have no experience with anything over 55 so i'm wondering about those 85 motors. How do you have the motors wired up?

Is that small buggie in the picture from walmart? I have 4 of those 4x4 crawlers from walmart but yours seem smaller, at least it does in the picture.

The 85s are really slow and no wheel speed at all. I can barely get them to break loose on an incline on 7 cells. I ordered 55s hoping that gets me closer to what I want. I'd love to be able to run 6-7 cells and performance the way I want it. Trying to avoind having to get into another charger.
As for the the little crawler. I don't recal where I got it. The cool one is actually behind the rock, a little fourrunner rc crawler. Picked it up for $4 bucks at Menards. They had a few cool bodies, like Hummers and other fourrunner colors.

Quick update. Got the 55s. Very happy. Once I go to 8,9,10 cells I think it'll be what I was looking for.
Thanks for the input
