So, sorry if I missed this but with 14 pages in two threads...... Does anyone have one other than Tamiya? Like, a magazine?... Maybe one in specific?

| They haven't hit the market yet, so no one has them but Tamiya. Scheduled due date is April or May. The magazines usually get them 2-3 weeks in advance, although that depends on product, shipping times, etc.

I think it's interesting that this kit uses 5x10 rather than 5x11 bearings. Not that it's a big deal, I just thought that it was interesting. I also noticed that the inner axles are about 5mm wider (10mm total for both sides) than the Highlift inner axles. Highlift inner axles are 92mm and 55mm wide, 147mm total. TLT inner axles are 74mm and 68mm, 142mm total. The new CR-01 is 61mm and 96mm, 157mm total. Now this is going off the manual at 100% but it's possible that the axles could be as much as 10mm wider than the highlift. The actual axle width of course is up in the air but I thought it was interesting that they could be wider. The instructions also mention ball bearings (another huge bonus!!!!) Overall it looks like a great kit though. I think there is a lot of potential for a ton of new builds, and offering it in the US first is a huge bonus Last edited by kaetwo; 03-12-2008 at 02:44 PM. |

I can take measurements if you'd like, but you'll have to tell me exactly where. The CR-01 is sitting across from my desk.

Outside of the wheel hex to the outside of the other wheel hex would be great Larrio.

Thanks Larrio for doing that TLT axles are 180mm/7.086" That's a full inch wider than stock TLT's :-( Looks like I'll be hording my TLT axles for scale projects, but the new axles will be a fun addition to the scale club :-) Last edited by kaetwo; 03-13-2008 at 01:36 PM. |

| Looks good but I will get the Axial 10 RTR first ...its a great deal IMO since even the kit was over $400 here shipping it in from the US as RTR is cheaper than buying the kit here |

...that timing means it should have pretty decent coverage in next months magazines...Dont forget teh Hobby Show in Shizuoka in May...No doubt they will have all the add-ons / hop-ups stuck up on boards for us to look at...
